French-Mexican Chef Jean Tardif is a seasoned restauranteur who has owned and worked as head chef at several successful restaurants in Mexico City.
Born in Mexico of French heritage, Chef Tardif has a globally inspired culinary vision that is the foundation for his newest venture, Tardif’s American Brasserie in San Antonio, Texas.
Amazing! From the food to the service. Managers and waiters are very attentive. I would provide more drink options for the brunch but I did not ask if I could have something other than a mimosa or a Bloody Mary. Would go back again!!!!
From the beginning of our dining experience, it was wonderful. The service (from the hostess, waitress, and head chef) was professional and friendly. The preparation of food and presentation was excellent. Tardif’s is one of our favorite restaurants … a local gem!
Beautiful atmosphere, multiple choices on the menu, and delicious dishes. We appreciated that the owner came to our table to greet us. And so interesting watching the kitchen “in motion” through the viewing glass.
Great date night. Amazing cocktails including a pomegranate martini my girl friend loved. Beef Wellington done to perfection and an amazing thick pork chop. With a table visit by the head chef and owner. We are definitely going back
Amazing French Bistro with top notch service. Really enjoyed a nice dinner with my wife with excellent service, great wine pairing and yummy food. The chef-owner stopped by to introduce himself and tell us about the menu and especially a delicious dessert called “Flanajillo” which is Flan with Carajillo. We will be back!
